We are pleased to confirm the teams for this weekends fixtures against Hadfield are as follows:

Unfortunately, the final junior training session of the season has been cancelled due to the poor weather. Details will be published for the presentation evening in due course.  

We are pleased to confirm the BDS Big Kahuna event which will take place at Tintwistle Cricket Club on Sunday 31st July 2016. Three other teams have been invited to this inaugural event, Old Glossop, Broadbottom and Mottram. Entrance is free and we are planning a fantastic day of Twenty20 cricket at the SCG. The Barking Pug will be open serving the usual array of drinks! Everyone is welcome!

The Tinsle Torndoes U11’s finished as runners up on finals day losing out to a well organised and highly competitive Hayfield team. The boys played brilliantly and the club is incredibly proud of them all. The Irish flags have arrived and ready to adorn the Barking Pug bar at the SCG this Saturday night! Join us for a fabulous evening of Irish music courtesy of the awesome ‘Dublin Road’, starting at 9pm. We will be also serving the best Mettricks steak & potato pies and some fantastic ales! Free entry too!  See you there! 

The Tinsle Tornadoes have been drawn in the first Semi Final on Sunday and will face Hazel Grove. The match will start at 10am. The second semi will see Hayfield take on Compstall at approx midday.  The final is due to start at approx 2pm. See you all at Dinting!!

Earlier today the Tinsle Tornadoes welcomed Charlesworth to the SCG. After the recent heavy rain which lead to the cancellation of yesterdays senior fixture there was general concern as to whether the game would go ahead. After an early morning cut of the track, groundsman Kevin Nield confirmed the ground had dried sufficiently and gave the green light. Charlesworth took first knock and batted very well.
