On Saturday the TCC 1st XI travelled to New Mills in round 4 of the DCCL. New Mills batted first and got off to a really positive start. Duckworth and Coverly put 52 on the board before Coverley (12) was bowled by Ryan Nixon. Duckworth (40) soon followed being bowled by the ever impressive Stuart Rose. We are pleased to confirm this weeks Senior Teams to take on New Mills are as follows.

Tintwistle travelled to Ernocroft Road on Sunday in Round One of the Bissenden Cup. In upbeat mood, Tintwistle enabled game mode as they strode to the crease for the first innings. Karl Handforth and Pete Higginbottom opened up moving the score to 34-1 before Higginbottom (11) was bowled by F Heginbotham. On Saturday Tintwistle CC welcomed Hadfield St Andrews to the SCG. Recent trends were instantly turned upside down when home Skipper James Pool won the toss! Tintwistle decided to bat first on a decent looking track that had benefited from the recent weather.
